The Philippine Statistics Authority through PhilSys Batangas is conducting an institutional National ID Registration and ePhilID distribution on the campus. This shall run until October 18 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Training Room and is open to all students and employees.

Subject: Transition to Online and/or Modular Classes on October 9, 2023, Due to Volcanic Emissions from Taal Volcano
Date: October 8, 2023

Dear PSHS CALABARZON Community,
In response to recent reports of thicker and more intense volcanic emissions, commonly known as vogs, affecting the entirety of Batangas City and surrounding areas due to continuous gaseous emissions from Taal Volcano, we would like to inform you of the following directive:

As per the recommendation of the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO), in consultation with the City School Superintendent, Department of Education, Batangas City, public and private schools, in ALL LEVELS, within Batangas City, are directed to resort to online and/or modular classes in lieu of face-to-face classes on Monday, 9 October 2023. This measure is being taken to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and staff in light of the ongoing environmental conditions.

Additionally, we strongly encourage everyone to wear face masks during this time to minimize exposure to airborne particles and protect your respiratory health.

For the convenience and peace of mind of our students, we wish to extend an additional advisory that parents or guardians may choose to fetch their children from the dormitory if they so desire, taking into consideration their safety and well-being during this period.

Your health and safety are our top priorities. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as needed. Please stay informed through official channels and announcements from the school.

Philippine Science High School- CALABARZON Region Campus (PSHS-CALABARZONRC) will be accepting applications for the National Competitive Examination (NCE) during the 2023 Regional Science and Technology Week (RSTW) to be held at University of the Philippines- Los Banos (UPLB) on September 18-22, 2023. We encourage interested Grade 6 students to visit us in our NCE booth to submit applications and know more about Pisay.
