Top Universities Join GCU-led College Fair

The Guidance and Counseling Unit organized a College Fair on September 20, 2023, at the E-Learning Hub. This event brought together admission officers and school representatives from several prominent universities, including Ateneo De Manila University, University of the East, University of Santo Tomas, Far Eastern University De La Salle University-Araneta, and Mapua University. It was participated in by Grade 11 and Grade 12 students.

The College Fair served as an invaluable information session for students and prospective applicants. Admission officers provided insights into their respective university's admission criteria and requirements.

The scholars had the opportunity to learn about the diverse range of academic programs offered by these universities. Students were informed about important dates for upcoming college entrance exams. Information about application deadlines was shared, ensuring that students were aware of key dates for submission. Details about scholarships, grants, and financial aid options were made available to help students pursue their education.

This year’s College Fair provided the scholars comprehensive platform to explore their college options. It aimed to empower students to make informed decisions about their academic and career paths, ensuring they are well-prepared for their future endeavors.

In between sessions, select students entertained the audience. Nichelle Beatriz Privandos, a G11 scholar, captivated the audience with her powerful and melodious voice while Marahuyo performed an energy-filled dance number. Maria Bea Vidal and Nashwein Ontua, both members of the AKAY organization, took on the role of emcees for the event.
